DFS consolidation roots

Hi!
I want to retire an old file server using the DFS Consolidation and File
Server Migration wizards, but I would like to know if it's a requirement or
strongly recommended to run the DFS Consolidation Roots on a separate server,
or whether it will work just as well to run it on the main file server.

The company isn't particularly large and the load on the file server isn't
dramatically high, so it would be a shame to have to set up a completely new
server just to handle the consolidation roots.

/H
