is possible look open files on all server DFS
windows server 2003 r2

Hi Emilio,

I guess what you mean is that if it is possible to open a file -which is
part of a DFS Namespace - which was previously open. If this is your case,
the answer is it depends on the type of file. I know from some applications
that they lock the file once is open. At this level DFS doesn't interfere.

Hi Emilio,
If you mean Is it possible to Lock files that are open on one dfs server so the
copies on other servers cannot open them then No. Not with the MS product. There
are 3rd parts applications that can do that though.
