Hi ,
I am a newbie dfs user and have a question about replicated data and ntfs
permission. I need the replicated data to inherit the destination folder
permissions. Is appears that even though the permissions on the
destination folder is set to apply to all folders and sub folder the ntfs
permissions is not applied, but the replicated permissions from the source
are. I was under the impression the replicated data should inherit the
destination folder permissions , is this not the case with dfs ?
Thanks

AFAIK the NTFS permissions are replicated with the file. Not sure how or if
you can stop this.
