Is DFS possible for sysvol\domainname\profiles folders on DCs

Is it possible to set up DFS for the \sysvol\domainname\profiles folders on
multiple domain controllers in a network? I'm trying to find some way to
make the roaming profiles available if one of the domain controllers goes
down. When I attempt to do it now, I 'm getting an error that says that I
the path is not found, even though the DFS snap in showed me the path and let
me select it.

I don't think that is going to work, as Sysvol is already replicated by FRS.
You will need to move the profiles to a Share on the server and replicate
that,
