I would like to use a shared folder located on a 2003 Web Server Edition
as a replicated DFS target (DFS-R).
Is this possible ?
I a not sure whether this server is in a R2 flavor or not, I don't even
find the information whether Web Edition exists in R2 or not.
My other targets are on 2003 R2 Standard Edition so I have no problem
with them.

Thanks a lot !

Regards

As I understand it, there is no "R2" version of 2003 Web, so DFS-R is
not possible on that platform.

This is documented as being new in 2008 Web, and a huge benefit for
those of us running web clusters that can handle DFS-R's lazy
replication.
