\\my.domain is a link to one of your DCs. So, you can see the "myshare"
only, if all of your DCs also host the DFS Root share. If only some of your
DCs contain the DFS Root, you would only sometimes see the share when
opening \\my.domain ... so, it's up to you, if you want to do this or not.
My solution was to create a network drive (e.g. by script).
