DFS server 2008 acces file simultaneous

Do you know if on server 2008 there is something to prevent acces file
simultaneous on two or more server?

Could you give me more information about your scenario? What's the role of
these two servers? What kind of error are you getting? Is this error accesing
a link? Anything else you think is useful to know from your environment?

Hello John

I have no error. It is the case when two users on two different servers open
the same file (file which is replicated using dfs).
I have heard that perhaps windows server 2008 could send the message to the
second user (in the time) that the first user have already opened this file
on the remote server in order to prevent that two users modify the same file
in the same time.
