I was wondering if it is at all possible to have DFS in a shared nothing
cluster. Basically I am investigating the possibility of using DFS to
consolidate 2 file server into a new environment but also preserve the old
names (root consolidation).

The idea is to have a 2 node cluster that is stretched between 2 datacentres
with each node having its own SAN. This would be done on Windows Server 2008
R2 Ent.
