DFS staging area in W2K8

Hello,

I understand it is best practices to move the staging folder to a separate
volume.
1. That was partly because of quota applied to replicated folder included
the staging area. This is not the case anymore in W2K8 (junction point to
system vol information). Is still recommended to move the staging folder in
W2K8 ?
2. You move it via the properties of the members. Does it move the conflict
and deleted folder as well ?
