DFS won't delete/create a namespace

Deleted a DFS namespace and trying to add a new one. Error is:

The namespace server \\servername\namespacename\ cannot be added. The server
already hosts a namespace. You can host multiple namesapces only on Windows
Server 2003, Enterprise Edition or Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition.

Any ideas please?
