I am running DFSR on 2 Win2K3 R2 servers in different domains, same forest
to keep 2 folders in sync. It works great as designed.
My problem is that if 2 people edit the file on seperate folders at the same
time, one file looses it's updates.
When one person opens a file in the folder, is there a way to lock it's
counter part on the other server...?
Windows 2008 or 3rd party product...?

Thanks,
Tom...

Can't be done in DFSR.
There is a third party product other people have suggested:
http://www.peersoftware.com/solution...e_locking.aspx
Or use terminal services,
