DHCP Address Warning

My DHCP server is issuing warnings that there are only 25 addresses available
in the configured range. This situation will not change, as we do not plan
to add any additional machines to the network. Is there anyway I can either
disable this warning or set the threshold to a lower number, say 5 addresses
left? The frequency of the warnings is becoming distracting.
Thanks,
Joe

Hello Joe,

This is a hardcoded percentage of 80%. There is a grace period of 4 hours
added to the end of lease time, so if you shorten the lease time it can help
to lower this entries in the event viewer, of course the lower the lease
time the more network traffic occurs during refresh. But with less machines
this can be ignored.

Also check the logging settings on the DHCP server properties, if i am not
wrong you can change them.

Best regards

Meinolf,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the only logging options are for the
DHCP log files. Nothing related to the Event Viewer. Guess I'll just have
to live with the messages.

Thanks!
Joe
