Hello, I had posted about this error a while back and I still havent got a
solution, Miles Li posted some steps for me to try and it still has not
solved the problem.
Here is what i have tries so far.
1. reboot the server
2. restored dhcp database from backup
3. uninstalled dhcp and reinstalled it.
4. made sure indexing on the folder was turned off.
5. antivirus has this folder in its exclustion list
6. made sure conflict detection is enabled and set to 5

I have a backup I can restore from but the amout of data that changes from
day to day would be huge.

here is the event logs:

The following problem occurred with the Jet database -1032: Jet
database read or write operations failed. If the computer or database has
just been upgraded, then this message can be safely ignored. If this message
appears frequently, either there is not enough disk space to complete the
operation or the database or backup database may be corrupt. To correct this
problem, either free additional space on your hard disk or restore the
database. After you restore the database, ensure that conflict detection is
enabled in DHCP server properties. For information about restoring the
database, see Help and Support Center. Additional Debug Information:

Double check the AV folder exclusions
Double check indexing is off for the (%systemroot%\System32\DHCP folder) and
you selected apply this settings to "This folder, subfolder and files"

So you've tried all this?

Event ID 1014 DhcpServer Jet database -556 error
http://blogs.technet.com/11/archive/...556-error.aspx

Maybe re-run CEICW after you reinstalled DHCP.

And maybe run a scan with the SBS 2003 BPA:

Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 Best Practices Analyzer
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

And make sure the System Account has full permissions on C:\ (on its
Properties | Security tab).

Do you have ISA 2000 installed?

Maybe set your antivirus software to not scan the Windows folder (for either
realtime or scheduled scans). Then re-run CEICW again.
