only problem with that fix is the dhcp database has not been moved.

Including the backup directory?
Anything of interest about the db maintenenace in the DHCP daily log files? If not, then I'd be suspecting corruption of one or the other and move on to exporting the DB, wipping both, and creating new DB's. Then importing the old data. ok only thing different today with the dhcp errors is only one group of the
3 was in the event log instead of 2-4 groups of 3 errors. ok it looks like avg is the cause of the error, I have reinstalled it

I had the same problem. I uninstalled AVG 9.0 and the problem went away. I installed AVG 8.5 and the problem stayed away.
