You ought to install some free spyware, such as spyblaster, spybot and
destroy and do some scans. You might run online scans at Panda or even
Microtrend for spyware.
I use VCOM's "Fix-it Utilities Pro" and have used "System Mechanic" and like
both.
I also use Norton's, however, many folks dislike Norton, I have not had
problems with their utilities program. I dislike their cleansweep program. I
don't think there is any decent uninstall programs around since the "Remove
It" program back when I had W95. That was the best program and it was bought
by Norton's If i recall right and I guess, they simply did away with it.
I always have problems with QuickTime and have since left it alone.
