Dialogboxes like the one for display settings or the one to update for new
service pack do not have or appear with scroll bar. The text in such a dialog
box is so big that the text is not shown complete some buttons etc are also
not shown.

I have really no idea how tochange tis.

Anyone the same problem. Can anyone help.

I would like to send someone a print screen to show this

Hi,

Two things to check:

Right click the desktop, choose personalize. In the left column, click the
line to Adjust font size (DPI) and reset it. If that fails, continue on the
same dialog to:

Click on Windows Color and Appearance, then on the line to Open classic
appearance properties. Click advanced. Change the item dropdown to message
text, then change the size (I believe the default is 9). Apply/ok your way
out.

Right-click in any empty area of the desktop.Choose `Personalise`.In the new
window that appears, click on `Window Color and Appearance`.If you are
running the Aero color scheme, click on `Open classic appearance properties
for more options`.This will open a dialog box. This dialog box will also be
directly invoked if you are not running Aero.Next, click `Advanced`.Click on
the sample `Message Text` shown in the pre-view image and choose the font
size from the drop-down menu below.Click OK.Then click `Apply` and then
`OK`.
If this doesn't work, choose the task `Adjust font size (DPI)` in the left
pane of the `Personalisation` window.On-screen instructions will guide you
how to set the font size.
