Where did my Subfolders go?

I have lost my e-mail subfolders. Did not delete them. Have tried system
restore. No positive results. Are they lost forever?

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems with
Windows Mail over time.

Try running the various database repair functions in the WMUtil program:

Also try searching for *.eml.

Its important to backup your messages.
