No, I didn't trust it to do a uninstall! I wanted to be sure every little
trace from that hideous program was removed....

It stayed for some hours on my pc, when I saw it again... I was thinking
that I had made a bad mistake,
being carried away by the hype around wmp11

It is clearly a horrible product. I mean it works... but its ugly and far
less user friendly than wmp10.

Wmp10 on the other hand was very good... so I will stick with that, THANK
YOU.

Microsoft is making its product line worse... more strange, more ugly, more
non user friendly, and in the case of ie7 they introduced a huge amount of
bugs....

So, I tried Ie7, I uninstalled it, I tried wmp11, I uninstalled that too...
I tried windows mail live desktop that was horrible and gave it the boot
too..

so what is left from the "vista era" product line that is somewhat better?
Only live messenger!

Still Drunk I see, sounds more like you have issue's that need a major
Service Pak upgrade. Go stand on someone else's bucket and blow your horn.
Microsoft is not the issue.

Fair play, have just uninstalled it myself, winamp is far superior.

Hate the new Vista look, don't like applications auto scanning my PC.

I don't know what your issue with it is.
Many of us have had no problems what so ever with MWP 11. Which would leade
me to believe that the problem may not be the program, but maybe the user.

Just a thought...

hahaha wmp11 is great... uses 70%+ cpu opposed to 20% to play an mp3.. and
besides the "new look" with ie7, i really can't tell the difference. ie7
still can't correctly block sites or follow html standards. the best part,
Kaspersky was convinced wmp11 and ie7 was a virus - during install, after
install, while using, even while they crashed... maybe it's correct.

I wouldn't say that it is "a horrible product".
It is still a beta and with a different approach.
There are some things to be smoothed - but in general,
I - somehow - like it.

I uninstalled the crappy and ugly WMP 10 and installed the beautifull and
awesome WMP 11. I've used pretty much every player there is and think that
WMP 11 is hands down the best! After trying IE 7 RC1 I could not go back to
the ugly and crappy IE 6. I jumped for joy like a kid 20 years younger when
IE 7 was released, yeah! MS rules!
