What is the difference between factory installed and retail version of Vista ?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the factory installed version
and the retail version of Vista home Premium?

One comes with crapware like McCafee and Norton trials and Retail or a
Generic OEM only has the OS.

Functionally, no difference.

Transferability from one machine to another... factory installed
can't, but the retail version can.

Factory installed includes a customized Welcome screen, probably Microsoft
Works, trials of MS Office, anti-virus solutions, and games, links to the
OEM support, all device drivers set up, and a recovery partition.

Retail Vista is Vista on a DVD, no bundled software, no OEM help stuff, no
customized driver package, BUT it can be installed on ANY machine, but only
one at any one time..

No, I a US citizen but I had a proper education ;-) The difference I was
trying to point out, however, is that MS says you may install Vista on
one computer but one *can* install it on more than one.
