First of all, sorry for my bad English ... but I have this problem with
my Vista Home Basic.
The directories in my home folder are shown twice.
To make a few things clear please see the screen captures on:
http://www.gijmelbergwijk.be/zwots1.jpg
and
http://www.gijmelbergwijk.be/zwots2.jpg
In pic 2 you can see what I mean: on the left hand side the directories
are listed twice. Removing one of them also removes the other with the
same name. Physically there's only one directory with that name on the HD.
When I create a new user account everything is OK in this new account,
but after a few days the double directories are there again, probably
because I use an incompatible or too old program .... I did install a few
programs I used on XP the first day I had this new PC.
On the other hand, Vista works good, the double listing doesn't harm the
whole process. But I hate it when something goes wrong and I (and NOBODY)
can't find a solution. Everybody says: re-install Vista. But that's too
stupid to consider. Problems are there to be solved,no?
For the very last time I like to ask if somebody has any idea what is
going wrong here. I never ever heard of such an error and nobody else
seems either.
All help welcome.
Thanks in advance
