Directory Custom or Modification Question

I copied some MP3 files to my root directory (C:\). Vista automatically
changed the layout similar to the music directory (album ratings, ect..)
I've changed back the columns to show Name, Date Modified, Size and Type.
But in the upper left hand corner of Windows Explorer it still shows the
Play All button next to the Views button. Is it possible to remove this
since there are no longer MP3 files in the Root Directory? This also happens
when I copy images to the Root Directory. Except it show the Slide Show
button instead.

Thanks,
Greg

p.s. I wish Vista wouldn't jump to conclusions and automatically format the
directory or in this case Root to show what ever the predominate file type
happens to be in that directory.

Figured it out myself.

I removed the mp3 files and then copied some pictures over. It, of course,
reverted to the image custom directory (shows date taken and so forth in the
explorer columns). Deleted those and then copied a random pdf file and a doc
file and it went back to the original layout with the default windows
explorer toolbark minus the play all button or slide show button. Very
strange.
