Start button > dxdiag > Look for the 'DirectX Version'

If You Have Either Microsoft Windows Vista Or Microsoft Windows Server
2008, Then It Is Automatically Installed On Your PC, Just FYI.

If you have Vista installed then you have DX 10 installed.
