Directx C update

After updating to directxc and also updating my Radion 9550, I stopped being
able to see anything (save a mouse) from a game that I had played on the
computer I had just updates. I ran the directX diagnostic, and everythin
looks fine until you run the directdraw test and it gets to full screen mode
(shows nothing) and also the 3D acceleration shows nothing.

Any clues on how to clear this up?

Do you have the latest ATI drivers installed?

Downloaded and intalled the latest drivers from ATI, but this did nothing to
help.
