How to disable automatic updates when installing SP2

Hi everyone...

I'm going to be deploying WinXP SP2, and since SMS will be taking care of
the windows updates from now on, I would like to turn the automatic update
feature off.

How would I do this when rolling out SP2? Would I use unattend.txt? If so,
would I only need the [WindowsFirewall] heading because nothing else in the
installation needs to be modified (computer name, product key; stuff like
that).

Even though I haven't tested it out yet, I plan on using netfw.inf to turn
off the firewall.

Group policy would be the easy way of configuring everything, but it's not
an option at this time.

The help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Geenie

If you're using unattended installs, use this line in your unattend.txt for
your unattended installs:

[Components]
;Does not install AutoUpdate
autoupdate = Off
