Disable automatic updates in SP2

Windows XP version 2002 SP2

Having just installed SP2 and elected NOT to have automatic updates enabled
thereafter, how do I prevent the warning bubble appearing on each log-on,
saying that "my computer is at risk, click on the bubble to correct this
problem"?

Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Security Center, Change the way
Security Center alerts me, then uncheck Automatic Updates.
