Previously with XP, i can right click on the dvd rw drive letter, and tick
"disable burning on this drive" to avoid conflict with my burning software,
such as Roxio Creator. But i cant find this tab anymore in vista.

Furthermore, after i burned a disc with Roxio Creator 10, in windows
explorer, there appears "File currently on the disc" on top of file listing
pane. In fact, i have already closed the disc sesssion during burning. In
XP, this wont appear if the disc is closed. Im not sure is something wrong
with Roxio 10 because previously i used Roxio 8 which now no longer run in
Vista.

Pls advise.

Run *regedit.exe
Navigate to
*HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Explorer

Creat a 32bit DWORD value titled *NoCDBurning* and set it *1
