Disable Cert Check under WM5

Lots of people talking about this in other areas...

Just upgraded from a 6600 PocketPC 2003 device to a 6700 WM5 device. I had
Exchange ActiveSync working great under 2003 (only diff was that I had an
internal CA so I ended up using the certchk utility to turn off cert
checking.)

Well, the tool doesn't work under WM5. Does anyone know of where the
registry change is located under the WM5 device (or the 2003 device for that
matter as it may give some clues).

Any other thoughts as to how I'd disable cert checking?

Haha! Just missed the previous post by Carl Wolz ... Looks like that's it!
Only thing is that I had to add "Secure" to the GUID!!! Looks like I'm
getting to the server now, just keep getting prompted for my
username/password. Weird.

FYI: Certchk.exe won't work on WindowsMobile 5.0. The layout of the registry
has changed. In the devices registry
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Pa rtners\{GUID}] set
"Secure" to 0. There may be more than one GUID under partners, so look at
the "Server" to see where it is syncing.

This only bypasses the validation of the certificate on the device. You will
still need a cert if you are syncing SSL

The password has an association with the "Secure" registry state. If that
value is changed, the password won't work (it's a security feature). Walk
through the wizard again and renter your password.
