Disable Windows Hot Key Combinations

Hi there,

I am currently investigating moving my company's computers over to Windows
Vista. I have bought a new laptop with Windows Vista Business on it for
testing purposes. It is important that if we move to Vista that our current
workflow is not adversely affected.

So far the only major problem that I have encountered is with hotkey
combinations.

In Windows Vista there are a wealth of new "WIN + key" combinations that
didn't exist in XP. For example WIN + 1,2,3,4 etc lauches a program from the
quick launch section.

Previously our company used a piece of open-source software called
hotkeybind to register a series of hotkeys to launch software and utilise our
workspaces system. The new WIN + key combinations have completely
counteracted this and I have been trying to find some way to unregister these
inbuilt hotkeys.

Is there any way to do this?

I am trying to do this as well - I run Vista with Parallels on a Mac, and the
"apple" key turns into a "win key" - very annoying. Help me disable this!
