Hello

How do I disable physical memory in Vista without having to remove the
memory stick.

I have 4 gig of Ram and I want Window Vista to only recognize 2 gig of
ram. How can I do this in Vista without having to resort to opening up my
computer and removing the memory sticks.

Type msconfig into the start/search box. On the 'Boot' tab, select
'Advanced Options' and check 'Maximum memory'. Set it to 2GB.

Hi,

You can't, unless the BIOS allows you to disable certain slots.
