disabling touchpad for vista

Hi, I just recently downloaded the Vista and I can't find where I can disable
the touchpad so that only my mouse works. I tried looking for Synaptics, but
I believe it was one of the things that was either uninstalled or didn't
transfer when I went from Windows XP to Vista
