Disappearing bookmarks

has anybody experienced disappearing bookmarks? since i started using
win7prox64 and ie8 my frequently used bookmarks in links have been
disappearing. is this malware or bad ie8?

Ever since I upgraded to IE8 I have had specific bookmarks disappear. I
posted this earlier and most people thought I was nuts. The one bookmark
that disappears on a regular basis is FoxNews. I started marking the day on
my calander each time it happened. I have been tracking it for about a month
and it has been deleted 4 times, almost a week apart each time. I am the
only user of the computer and have scanned for viruses.

I would like to know if anyone else using IE8 is experiencing anything
similar.

What day of the week does your 'clean-up' utility run? You know, the one
that clears out your temp folders, TIF, History, Favorites, etc.
