I have a problem that I am sure you experts have heard tons of times. I
would however, appreciate a step by step instruction on how to solve my
problem.

I am running the new Vista OS, and in my start menu, the icons are gradually
disappearing. It seems like every time I turn on my computer, more icons
have gone!!

I am sure that there is a solution to this problem, can you help please?

You need to start a new thread entitled "Ping Frank". He's the expert on
disappearing icons and he posts here every day.

Get lost asshole and don't bother to come back this time. You're too
stupid and far too broke to afford Vista, the very best OS available today.

It's because they sell well on the black market. Either that or your
computer is infected with something or other. I suspect the latter.

The Start Menu is populated by frequently used applications. If you don't
use many they will eventually fall off the list.

They're still all there under 'All Programs'.

You *can't* help the OP because you don't have the solution to his or
her *Vista* problem. Why not, hot shot?
