Disappearing Quick Launch

Has anyone else had a problem with the quick launch icons disappearing after
a reboot? I populate quick launch, but on restart the icons aren't there.

If you Right click task bar>toolbar, quick launch is ticked there before you
reboot?

Umm... it won't show anytime unless that's ticked. Since the OP can
see it, it's gotta be ticked.

Thing to check is if it's still ticked AFTER a reboot.

Usually it happens because this folder is missing:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Next time you reboot, check to see if it is there. If not, recreate it
(file/new/folder) before you re-enable the quicklaunch in taskbar
properties. That should resolve it.

The above folder path is a hidden, system path, you may need to adjust your
folder options/view tab in order to see it.
