Disappearing Task Manager Window and system running very slow

•When trying to get to the Windows Task Manager “Alt-Ctrl-Delete� the window
appears then disappears quickly (too quickly to even select an item on the
screen)
•Also System taking longer to get to the Desktop screen after turning on.
(Up to a minute longer)
•Have tried many times to System Restore the computer to a prior date but
didn’t cure the problem. Believe this problem started before the earliest
System Restore date.
•Run…// Msconfig and that screen comes and go’s quickly as well before
selection can be made!
HELP!!
