disappearing text in chat mode??????

Can anyone tell me why every letter or character can be typed and seen in ML
chat mode
except the number zero?
I'm so frustrated it works any other place I type it ie notepad,text fields
etc
just not in Messenger Live? please help

Are you sure you might've not set an emoticon to be 0? You can check by clicking the Tools
menu (or pressing Alt-T if the menu is hidden), choose My Emoticons, go through the Emoticons
under My Emoticons and look for one marked 0. If you find it, change or remove it.

ah yes there is an emoticon that is blank that appears to have a zero under it
but I can't unpin it? how do I get rid of it?
