I am using Dialup MSN 9.6, Live Messenger 8.1, IE 7.0 and XP. I have no
problems logging in; but while browsing or downloading a program; even while
submitting this problem I am being disconnected from the web; and this can
happen after 10 min or up to 4 hrs on line. I do not receive the popup box
telling me” I have been disconnected would you like to connect YES or NO”. I
get an X over Messenger, and my browser page changes to “this program cannot
display the web page” or my download STOPS downloading. I have tried
“AUTOCARE” numerous times; I called MSN TECH support so many times they all
know me. But the problem persists. So I try to sign Messenger back in to only
to be asked by the popup TO RETRY and this never works. So I sign out and
the butterfly says “goodbye” and I try to sign in again and the Butterfly
waves her wings and then a message “ATTEMPTING 2” I hit the CANCELL button
and the message is “you are currently connected”. So I “restart” the
computer; doing this each and every time; before getting back on line. Help
please, this is frustrating.
