How can I use chat log ( to see what do my contacts when I am not here ) ?
Ihave Widows Live Messenger 8,1 .

I'm not entirely clear what you're asking.

Assuming you have it on you can just right-click contacts on your contact list, choose View
and then Message History. But this history will only be recorded when you're online and only
records messages.

What kind of information are you looking for? Messenger Plus (http://www.msgplus.net) can
record an "event log" of what your contacts are up to when you're not at your PC if that's
what you're after.
