That won't help. What is probably happening is that a file that need
defragmenting is in use by the operating system and cannot be easily moved
at the time being... or maybe ever. Usually the best course of action is to
shutdown all items in the task tray, shutdown any unneccessary services and
try defragmenting again if you really want to get the defragmenting perfect.
However, this usually isn't necessary to go to great lengths.
Usually the recomended course of action is:
a) Run checkdisk (scandisk) or other checking utility on the volume
first.
b) Then run defragmenting software.
