Disk Management Error

When using the Disk Manager to create a new NTFS simple volume on a Basic
disk I often find the Windows Explorer automatically starts up before the
volume is completely formatted and gives the error "F:\ is not accessible.
The parameter is incorrect." This appears to be due to Auto Insert
Notification when the partition table is changed to add the new partition for
the volume.

Other third party disk managers behave similarly, but the error is often
something else like, "You need to format the disk in drive F before you can
use it. Do you want to format it?"

I have tried to suppress it by turning off AutoPlay for all drives, but with
no success.

Any ideas on what is causing this or how to suppress it?
