about disk partition in my notebook!!!!!!!!!!!

i got hp dv6626us notebook i have to make 4 disk parition which i got
in the laptop was only two partition one is vista is loaded and other
one is recovery partition
for partition of my hdd without formating .how i have to do parition
plz anybody reply
i have to use software or not .if yes plz recomend which software i
have to be used

Acronis Disk Director is as good as any..
