Yeah, I've heard that works. The problem for me is that, for various
reasons, I couldn't "upgrade" on either of the two test machines here. I
had to do a clean install. That wiped out Diskeeper Pro 9 and you cannot
re-install it once Vista is installed (it wants to replace the MMC which
would be a disaster).

I upgraded XP with Diskeeper 9 Home to Vista 5728. THe compatibility
check showed no problem so I left DK9 Home on. When Vista had installed
I tried DK9H. Got a MMC error and selected the option to ignore.
DK9H seems to run absolutely fine and Vista hasn't shown up any issues
yet.
