Hi guys,

I have just set up my first cluster using virtual server.

It seems to be working ok as far as I can see, but tbh wouldn't know if
something looked out of place.

Anyhow I am now trying to install sql server 2005 with the Create a SQL
Server Failover Cluster option. But I am getting the error:-

The drive specified cannot be used for program location. Program files must
be installed on a valid local disk available on all cluster nodes. The valid
values are

The list of values seems to be blank, so I guess I have failed to set up the
disks properly, however as far as I can see they seem to be fine.

I have set up 3 SCSI adapters/disks and attached them to my 2 nodes I have
one of these disks (the Q Drive) is set as the quorum in the cluster
properties and I have been trying to install SQL Server there.

I also get the following message when I try to open the Cluster
Administrator:-

An error occurred attempting to read properties for the 'MSMQ' resource type.

The specified node does not support a resource of this type. This may be
due to version inconsistencies or due to the absence of the resource DLL on
this node:

Error ID: 5079(000013d7),

It then asks me if I want to continue anyway, which I do, then I hit cluster
administrator. I don't know if this is connected or even how to install the
MSMQ service.

I have turned off one node and made sure that the active resources fail over
properly which they seem to do and all my scsi disks are part of these
resources.

Really don't know what is wrong, would be very greatfull if someone could
point me in the right direction.

Many thanks.

Alexis Coles.
