display memory and system memory

when I try to run applications on my computer they freeze up and run really
slow, so when I went to look at the system requirements for one of my
applications, I didn't have enough display memory and system memory,
everything else is fine. what can I do about this?

Sounds like you're sharing RAM between the system and the built in video.
The easy solution is to install more. Check the manual to verify size, type,
etc.
