Display Name & Personal Message cannot be changed

I tried to change. But my display name kept showin my email instead of the
name i want. And my personal message just don`t show the thing that i type.
Instead it went blank.

I am having the same problem. I'm in the WLM-Yahoo beta (could this be the
cause?) For a moment I thought it's because I'm using Messenger Plus, but I
signed in to MSN Web Messenger, changed my nick, signed out, then back in
from Web Messenger, and my nickname reverted back to my e-mail address. (PS:
I was using MSN Messenger 7.5 on my PC)

Could this be due to the new build of WLM8 (8.0.0812) that fixes an issue in
the maximum nickname length?

I had the same problem. Go to "View My Contact Card" and then click the "<>"
button so a "pen" icon appear in the next screen and click once. New window
open and fill the prefferd "Nickname" plus "Instant Messaging Address" and
click Save.

I'm using MSN Messenger 7.5 so I can't follow these steps. I don't think it
has to do with anything client-side. It's more like a server problem.
