display pictures not displayed in coversation window

hi,

i've just installed the new beta and whenever i chat with people, i can't
see their photo (or mine), unlike the previous messenger. is this normal? if
not, how do i fix it?

You can hide/show the photos by clicking on the left of the message boxes.
