This is so weird. For the past couple days, when I start up the system after
being in stand-by (when I close the lid I have it set to go into standby, not
to hibernate), the desktop wallpaper display starts fine (1280x800) then
blinks and switches itself to another display setting (1024x768). Extremely
weird and frustrating!
I have WinVista Home Premium on a Dell XPSm1330 laptop.
Nothing else is plugged in except power and I have a bluetooth mouse
connected.
Any help and understanding here is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Belinda

Have you asked Dell for help with this?

Well, uh, actually no. I guess I assumed that Vista was the "bad guy". Good
point.
Thanks.
