I run Vista Ultimate, and everytime I shut down the computer and restart it,
the resolution is set to 800x600 256K color. and so all the arrangements on
my desktop get corrupted. That does not happen when I sleep or hibernate my
computer.
Any idea?
Thanks

Hi, Smartlynx.

To give us a better chance at helping you, please tell us a few basic facts
about your computer. Such as: LCD or CRT monitor? What size: 1280 x
1024? 800 x 600? Or something else? Onboard video, or a graphics card?
Which card? Which drivers? Running any graphics software? Heck, you might
even disclose the make and model of your computer...desktop or laptop?
Stuff like that. Otherwise, all we can do is guess and our guesses are
almost guaranteed to be wrong - and not helpful at all to you. :>(

What is in your Startup folder?

We'll probably have more questions, but these will get us started.
