- Displaying WMP song information to contact list...

No matter what I do, I can't display the WMP song information on Messenger
like everyone else on my list can. And yes, the option in the preferences is
checked.

Anyone know what other "toggle" might be preventing the song info from being
displayed to my contact list next to my name?

Greetings Mike,

The plug-in probably just got turned off. To turn it back on, open up Windows Media Player,
click the Tools menu, then Options, then Plug-ins tab, look under the Background category and
verify that the Windows Live Messenger Music Plugin is checked.
