Dissapearing Directories

We have approximately 200 Servers using DFS-replication, while creating
directories at the top root servers, we notice that the folders dissapear
causing us to re-create another directory, after several hours it re-appears
again. My question is there a bug with DFS-r when creating directories or
maybe guide us with the best practice?

When you create the DFS - last time I checked it renames the DFS with a
numbered directory beginning with the name of the share and then a string of
numbers.
