dissappearing WU icon????

alright who stole my freaking Icon..... (just trying to make a laugh outta
this)..anyways i was getting the dreaded SP2 update and i was at 47
percent... i went to check the icon about half hour later and the windows
update icon dissappeared on me?....is SP2 DL'ing in patches ?

Had the same thing tonight but decided to just leave everyting as is.. it
mysteriously re-appeared and finished.. as my Not a Gloat Posting a few lines
down says..

well its somewhat comforting to know im not alone in this...ive had this pc
for 4 months now and the first week it crashed (bad memory chip) anywho for
someone who is new to all of this stuff there sure is alot of things to
update and go wrong with it.....

all i wanted it for was internet and art programs lol
